My jewelry education began in 1980 with my mother, Maria Robinson. My mom taught me everything I know about jewelry, including how to appreciate and combine jewelry of extraordinary design to the most desirable and fullest effect. She would say, “Buy it like you’re buying it for yourself”. Luckily, Mom and I both had very diverse taste, so we bought a lot of jewelry over the years. Following mom’s mantra has resulted in continuous heart break – every day we have to part with pieces we are very attached to. Thanks a lot Mom. At least we are comforted with the knowledge that they are going to good homes. We lost Mom to cancer in October of 2001, 5 months after my daughter Hannah was born and I became a new mom – to a baby girl and soon after to a new business. The shock was almost too much to bear for our new family. Almost 7 years later, my daughter Hannah is turning 7, and my daughter Zofia is turning 4. Thanks to the love and support from my family, this dream my mother began almost 25 years ago has become a reality. This website is dedicated to my Mom, Maria Robinson – who started it all, and to this day is still telling me what to do, in her own ways… I give thanks for the many blessings I have received in my life, to my mother and father for giving me life and teaching me to give and receive love, and Mom especially for introducing me to my incredibly loving, supportive, and generous husband, Bill. Dad, you’ve been a great supporter and always told me there isn’t anything I can’t do when I put my mind to it. I wouldn’t have been able to start my business without you. Hannah and Zofia, my baby girls, you kept me going when I didn’t think I could – Mommy loves you so much! Thank you for your constant, constant love. And to my cousins Tony and David, whom without their technical savvy I wouldn’t have been able to light my cases, or develop my website, Thanks!
